Dexter background black.
Within the Order of the Bath,Or a cross flory sable surmounted by a bend gules thereon a bend engrailed or charged with three hand grenades sable fired proper, a chiefof Augmentation argent thereon waves of the sea from which issuant in the centre a palm tree between a disabled ship on the dexter, and a ruinous battery on the sinister proper(Nelson). Shield surmounted by a ducal coronet or, and above it a viscount`s coronet.
Crests: Dexter, From a naval crown or the chelengk or diamond plume of triumph, presented to Lord Nelson by the Grand Seignior.
Sinister, The stern of the St Joseph, frist rate man-of-war floating in waves of the sea proper.
Supporters: Dexter, A sailor habited and armed with a cutlass and pair of pistols in his belt proper his right hand supporting a pike proper thereon hoisted a commodore`s flag argent and his left holding a palm branch. Sinister, A lion reguardant, in his mouth two broken flag staffs, flowing from the one the Spanish and from the other the French tricoloured ensign, and in the forepaw a palm branch all proper, each supporter standing on a motto scroll, the dexter carrying the words, Palmam qui, the sinister carrying the words Ferat meruit.

Pendent from behind and from the sinister side by a ribbon vert the Star of the Order of St Joachim.
Pendent from the centre base of the shield three ribbons azure fimbriated gules three medals.
Pendent from dexter and sinister sides of the shield a ribbon azure fimbriated gules depending from this the Order of St Ferdinand and of Merit and from this the Order of the Crescent.
