Are you wishing to be out there?

A school-aged child on a boat house looking through the locked window. I wonder what was she thinking about: school, parents coming home... or nothing but just curiously watching people passing by. It seems time stands still in this village. Young people are not home as they are on boats working until dawn to earn their tough living. Only see children and old people are home. Kids are not running around having fun as what we usually imagine. Old people either sit idle or wash clothes on the floor of their boat house. It is her eyes that haunt me.
