As You Ran
Uncertain joy
After rivers of tears
Broken steps
On a lost road
A moment of calm
From endless fears
A short respite
From a heavy load
Our gazes met
As you stepped from the dark
You saw my size
But not my heart
The moment froze
On the edge of a knife
And then you shook
And ran for your life
Your life is dread
In a sea of woes
I watch you with pity
You see only foes
I watched as you ran
You didn't look back
You're haunted and lost
You're stuck in your past
I watched as you ran
Your world is so black

Hello. I'm not really back yet. About a week and a half ago I replaced my 9 year old PC with a modern one, but I'm still in the lengthy process of setting it up. For Skyrim so far I got around 450 of the 1006 mods I originally had, but I keep running into issues each of which take hours to trouble shoot and resolve. A lot of what worked in my old PC just doesn't work in the new one.
Still, this morning I got the urge to write a poem, and that prompted me to set up the basic stuff I need to convert it into a song and then a film. I'll probably be working on this PC at least a couple more weeks, but I figured I'd share this proof of concept film in the meantime. Thanks as always for your kind visits! :)
