Echoes of Shadows

The echoes of my shadow

Live out of my fears

The echoes of yesterday

Dry out my tears

 

All around me renewal

Takes shape from the night

While dreams try to guard me

From endless fright

 

I take my shadow

With arms bound in guilt

To my depths of the past,

Of regrets that I built

 

She takes all my pain

As all angels do

And teaches me love

I wish came from you

 

Echoes of shadows

No longer myself

I wish it were true

And not just my Hell
