Waiting for You
Watching the sun rise
From my rooftop
I fly to the clouds
With bedsheets for wings
I listen for you
While closing my eyes
To imagine your smile
And the joy that it brings
I jump to the sky
While singing a tune
And stars clap and twinkle
While I land on the moon
All that I say
Is as true as my dream
Where I wait at the door
For you to come home

I've been up for 3 or 4 days, and about 12 hours ago I was just about to crash when the idea of standing on the roof with bedsheets for wings hit me, and I had to make a poem out of it. Then an hour later I had to turn it into a song. And a few hours later I had to make the song into a film. I can't see the film. I'm too blind. But I did my best. It's nothing special, just something I felt I had to make in the place of dreaming. But I am falling apart finally, so I'll probably go to bed before this even finishes uploading. I'll come back tomorrow :) Thanks for the visit!
