Waiting for Doom

Looking for monsters

From a cabin in the woods

Safe in the darkness

But waiting for doom

 

Whistling on graves

While watching the night

Scared that my end

Will sneak on me soon

 

Hiding in sheets with

My feet off the floor

The monster under my bed

In the dark of my room

 

I smile and pretend

That all is alright

Safe in the darkness

But waiting for doom
