Blue Hearts
Hello. My previous film was admittedly bleak and sad. One dear friend told me it made her cry, and while that's often a good thing as tears are important, this film deliberately has no pain and no sadness. I'm hoping you may find it relaxing and maybe even uplifting :)
Song used: "The Chauffeur" by Duran Duran (1982)
On a side note, this particular song is significant in that it was from the early days of music videos, and Duran Duran released a VHS tape with short films which were not aired on MTV because they contained nudity. I rented this film when it came out, and The Chauffeur was the first music video I saw which not only had nudity but was very elegant and did not particularly sexualize the nudity. The film was purely beautiful, and it made an impression on me which in hind sight I think changed me (I was not quite yet an adult when I saw the film). Hopefully this fil is elegant enough to be worthy to use this song :) Thank you so much for your visit.
