American Goldfinch

Birds make me happy! I love all birds (okay there's a few exceptions) and the Goldfinch is among one of my favorites. The yellow on the male is just starting to get brighter until it's a brilliant yellow in June before starting to fade again.

I hope that they land in this crabapple tree when it blooms because their yellow against the white is beautiful.
