Kausani (Hindi: कौसानी) is a hill station situated in the bageshwar district of the Uttarakhand state of India. It is located 52 km north of Almora. Pant Museum is another place of importance, this is the place where the famous poet of Hindi literature, Sumitranandan Pant was born. This place is preserved in its original ancestral form and served as a reference library on him.
