Punchdrunk
Punchdrunk creates theatrical environments in which the audiences are free to choose what they watch and where they go, fusing live performance, music and large-scale installation art.
There are two events in this set:
1) A series of railway arches beneath Waterloo station were transformed into the headquarters of the Space Invaders Agency as part of the "Biggest Learning Opportunity on Earth", a programme themed around the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

2) "...and Darkness Descended", immersive theatre from Punchdrunk in collaboration with Sony promoting the launch of new PS3 game Resistance 3.
The scene is set in an alternate reality sometime during the 1950s, following the invasion of earth by alien Chimera who have killed or enslaved most of the human race.
Making use of disused railway arches beneath Waterloo station, the event brought the game to life with participants playing the part of survivors on a terrifying chase to complete their vital mission for the human resistance.
