Origin of the Mystery #5: hunted

I'm sitting on a roof while I'm looking for another crime to be stopped. I need evidence to stop the corruption of this city. I look at my leg. It still hurts from that night. Who was this "Doctor Skull" and what did he want? I look up to the sky. It's a pretty night with very few clouds. The moonlight shines bright. Then, I finally hear the truck arriving . That's where I've been waiting for. I jump to another roof while I close in silently while the truck is outloaded. The boxes are one by one brought into a building. I calculate the time between them. Then I sneak to the boxes. I have around a minute vefore the goons are back. I carefully open one of the boxes. When I try to close it again, I see a bullet flying just passing me, while a loud bang is heard. A sniper. I quickly hide behind the boxes while a second shot csn be heard. It seems to come from a window. I take out my grappler, but hide again as the goons come walking back. They begin firing with there automatic guns at me. I wait until the goons need to reload, and then jump over the boxes. I slide towards them, I hit a leg of one of them with my staff and kick another over. I hear more goons coming, so I grapple to the roof. I see the person fleeing on the roofs. I land in front of him and just dotch another bullet, this time coming from a pistol. The man wears a helmet with a black visor, tubes over his suit and a jetpack on his back.

 

Crossway: "The name is Crossway, kiddo."

 

Mystery: "Why are you trying to kill me?!"

 

Crossway: "It's nothing personal, just bussiness."

 

Mystery: "Well, who hired you then?!"

 

Crossway: "I don't really remember his name that well anymore, but I believe it was Anderson or something?"

 

Mystery: "Hamminson."

 

Crossway: "Yeah, that guy! Do you know him?"

 

Mystery: "Kinda."

 

Crossway: "Well uhm, I'm just gonna kill ya now, okay?"

 

Crossway begins firing at Mystery.

 

Crossway: "So why the name, Mystery?"

 

Mystery:"You talk to much."

 

Crossway: "What do you mean by that?!"

 

I throw my staff at him and he gets distracted by it, I run towards him and kick his guns out of his hands.

 

Crossway: "Hey!"

 

Mystery: "As I said, you talk to much."

 

Crossway: "Blah."

 

Crossway takes out another two guns and flies in the air while firing at Mystery.

 

Crossway: "Haha, catch me if you can!"

 

Mystery pulls out his grapple hook and shoots it around Crossway. Crossway falls to the ground and his pistols fall of the roof, but yet he pulls out another pistol.

 

Mystery: "Man, how many pistols do you even have?!"

 

Crossway: "Need to be prepared for the job."

 

While Crossways jetpack malfunctions, he fires at Mystery who slightly dotches them. Mystery kicks the gun out of his hand.

 

Crossway: "Ahh, that was my last gun!"

 

They have a hand to hand combat fight. Mystery is on the winning side. Crossway notices it, and quickly graps the grappler from Mystery and takes a step back. He shoots it around Mystery. Mystery can't move and struggles to get loose.

 

Crossway: "Ha, gotcha with your own tricks!"

 

Mystery: "Dammit!"

 

Crossway: "See ya around kiddo!"

 

And Crossway runs away in the night.
