Moorsetown Mall in Moorsetown, New Jersey opened in 1963 and Macy's was originally Wanamaker's. Wanamaker's went out of business in 1994. Between 1993 - 1994 the mall had a massive fire which did damage the store partially. In 1994 Hecht's opened in the former Wanamaker's Store. Hecht's lasted about two years and was acquired by Strawbridge and Clothier's in 1996. In 1999 the original building was torn down to build a brand new store. In 2006 Strawbridge and Clothier went out of business and became Macy's. This Macy's will be going out of business in March of 2017.
