Lego AT-ST Raider MOC
Got Lego's Mandalorian set a couple months ago, and I was not a huge fan of the AT-ST. I'm not even a huge fan of the AT-ST design in universe, but I thought the shaping of the Lego one was really inaccurate in terms of the shaping of the cockpit and the size. And also, it can't even stand with its legs apart :/
I tried to make the AT-ST more size accurate and less heavy so it could stand in a "walking" pose with its legs apart. Writing this description now, I realized I should've probably taken pictures of the AT-ST in a walking pose lol.
If you guys were wondering, that black mess on its left leg is a net piece. On Hasbro's model, the AT-ST had the net, and I liked how it looked.
Based on screen shots from Return of the Jedi and pictures of Hasbro's toys, an AT-ST is approximately 3-4 humans tall (reference picture here: www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-AT-ST-Raider-Mandalorian/dp/B07T...), so I tried to approximate that with this build. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :)
I added some background pieces to the build this time so the picture wouldn't look so boring. The trees are slightly modded from that Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter set with Sirius Black and the Dementors.
