Mount Kharniath: A Collaborative Project
Mount Kharniath is a collaboration with
Cole Blood and
Classical Bricks displayed at Bricks Cascade 2018!
The base is 9 48x48 baseplates and it stood at about 3 feet tall. Timothy built the back 6 baseplates and the first layer of rocks. Since he didn't quite finish, we had to speed build the top of his landscape and all of the walls and market stalls for the first 2 days of the con. Cole built the middle layer of island with the tower and the balcony, as well as the baseplate in the front right corner. I built the top layer of island with the castle, and the 2 remaining baseplate of water and landscape. It was a really fun experience planning this because of how complicated it was to stack landscapes. Considering we had so much work to do at the con, this build turned out much better than I thought it would. We actually ended up winning best in show! It was as blast hanging out with these guys over the weekend and hopefully you can see more collabs from us in the future! Be sure to check out their Flickr pages for more photos!
