It's been 14 years since I have been able to give you lilacs for your birthday, you would have been 67 today.

Years ago, I planted a lilac tree in my yard for you, every year when it blooms it brings me a little joy.

There are so many times I've wanted to pick up the phone and hear your voice. So, many things I want to say... I miss you so... grateful for the time I had you.
