Desires remain unsatisfied
People are never satisfied, they always want more, yet more is never enough.
Ecclesiastes 6:7 “Every person works for his own self-interests, but his desires remain unsatisfied.”
In the Book of Revelation, humanity is not satisfied. They embrace transhumanism. They end up fighting for world supremacy in World War 3. Jesus then returns to stop them from destroying all mankind.
Sin is never satisfied. Like fire, it desires to consume everything.
