Sunrise at Ponta da Piedada [EXPLORED]
Portugal is a beautiful country with an even more beautiful coastline. Especially the Southern region Algarve is known for its nice climate and stunning cliffs.
Ponta da Piedada near the city of Lagos is one of the most impressive rock formations I have ever seen and is best admiring at sunrise. It was a stunning experience, standing all alone in the middle of these cliffs, watching the fierce and powerful Atlantic Ocean waves banging on these rock formations while the sun is slowly rising out of the ocean thus setting the sky on fire.
Spectating this game of the elements makes you feel humble and, for me, was more than worth the effort of getting out of my bed in the middle of the night.
