(I think he paid $100 for it. Only American GI's drove cars this beat up; the Japanese were very proud of their cars and kept them clean and shiny.)
Note the ominous guard tower with search light, just like the movies except in this one it's Americans up there (I never saw anybody in them, but then I wasn't over there at night).
