Regular Visitors

This doe (center) was born about four or five years ago and now has these fawns of her own (could be her second crop). They rest, graze and sleep on our front grass every day now, coming and going throughout the day. Periodically the doe jumps the back yard fence and eats whatever flowers that survived her last raid.

 

The fawns are quickly learning bad habits from her and now don't automatically run away when we go outside.

 

The really annoying thing is that they won't eat the weeds in the grass...only the best, tenderest shoots. We still have to mow the stuff they don't like.
