Morning is breaking

A pair of chalk hill blue butterflies found perched nicely just as the sun emerged behind them. There was a lovely diffused light for a while with a patch of light cloud softening the sun. It was soon to become quite harsh and while I was hoping to catch the butterflies opening their wings they were active and flew very quickly.
