Forge Islands Sunrise, Antarctica.

I've started to re-process some of my images from a trip of a lifetime to Antarctica in 2013 for small personal project. It's amazing how different they have emerged - hopefully as a result of a more developed sense of light and colour? It's rare to get the opportunity to photograph from land at sunrise / sunset in Antarctica but we had camped overnight on one of the Forge Islands off the Antarctic Peninsula. ("Camped" is a relative word here - no tents - sleeping bag and bivvy bag in an ice-scrape! The "facilities" consisted of a bucket!!). Still, wouldn't have missed it for the world :) I'll probably post a few examples as I go along. The Antarctic skua obligingly lent a focal point to the foreground here. Thanks for looking.
