Between the stations Lang and Russ on the ex-SP Saugus Line, an ex-SP AC4400CW is the rear DPU on a northbound Union Pacific intermodal train bound for Lathrop, and has just exited Tunnel 19 in Soledad Canyon as it works its way north toward Palmdale and the high desert.
