Ostracod AKA Seed Shrimp..

Living in mudpuddles, nobody really pays much attention to ostracods, but they're strange little things. They look like little motorized clams zipping around crazily, or maybe motorized sesame seeds. This is my first day of attempting to photograph them, I think the next time I'll put them in a petri dish, so I have more control over background and lighting etc.
