Elani Halstead: "Tradition Within Modernity," Dadaocheng District, Taipei

 

Our group was given a tour around the district and our first stop was this beautiful gate-like structure. I thought it was incredible to see the mix of more modern-style architecture and traditional architecture. To me, it reflects a preservation of history and memories.
