Eleanor Swager: "Toledo Sunset," Toledo, Spain
This photo was taken from the tower of the foundación where my j-term class stayed while in Spain. Toledo is known for its picturesque sunsets. One night, I saw an especially vibrant sunset and ran up to the tower to take a photo. In addition to the sunset, this photo shows the illuminated Cathedral of Toledo to the left. The Cathedral was built in the 13th century and is an example of High Gothic architecture, one of the architecture styles we studied while abroad!
