Notre-Dame du Vœu abbey
Founded in 1145 by Mathilde the Emperor.
But unprotected, the abbey is regularly looted and burned during the incessant Franco-British battles (1294, 1295, 1327, 1330, 1340, 1346, 1377), forcing the religious to leave. It was rebuilt around 1450
It was then transformed into a Navy hospital between 1793 and 1866
