47 years old, Horticulture Technician, Bachelor's degree + 3; originally from Dakar, came to Saint Louis for professional reasons

Compared to the UFP organization

Database manager of the Union of Women Producers of Ross Bethio (UFP)

Provides network-level facilitation, training on good agricultural practices, quality assurance follow-up, organization follow-up (financial management) with the support of Naatal Mbay

SAED focal point, and manages the credit monitoring of CNCAS and agricultural equipment

Responsible for the monitoring of paddy stocks in Saint-Louis and Ross Béthio as part of the program to set up a system for real-time monitoring of paddy stocks for in-kind repayment of production credits granted by the Commission. Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole of Senegal (CNCAS).

Compared to the rice processing unit of the UFP

Monitors the commercialization and management of micro-finance with women members

Compared to the follow-up of the paddy stocks of the CNCAS:

Manages the Saint-Louis credit database for 26 beneficiaries and Ross Béthio for reimbursement tracking

Watches overall paddy production on the contracted global credit paid and payable. Data stored on tablets using a computerized system

Currently, everything is going well

Its challenges: convincing producers to adopt the contracting system, given the many advantages

Always have an up-to-date database

The database made it possible to identify the problems, to propose solutions and to reconstitute the data

With the CNCAS, there were real difficulties in monitoring paddy stocks for repayment of loans to the Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole du Sénégal (CNCAS), which has become a major issue. But now this problem is solved
