2019 - AUSA CONNECTICUT CHAPTER GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING CELEBRATING FLAG DAY AND THE ARMY'S 244TH BIRTHDAY 6-13-2019

Our CT Chapter AUSA General Membership Meeting Celebrating Flag Day & The Army's 244th Birthday was attended by CT Chapter Members, their Families and Friends, and was enjoyed by all..

The Posting of the Colors was done by JFHQ-CT. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by the CT Chapter President BG (CT-Ret) Gary Ottenbreit.

Salute the Flag of the United States was done by Elaine Krauss, Executive Director.

Grace was done by MAJ Corey Holmes in the absence of MG (CT-Ret) James Throwe.

The Army Message and Cake Cutting Ceremony was led by CMS(Ret) Joseph Sevigny with MG(Ret) Sar Phouthasack cutting the Cake.

Our Guest Speaker was COL Russel J Bonaccorso Jr., Military Administrative & Programs Officer CT Military Department, who updated us on the role of the Army past and present as it pertains to Active Army, National Guard and Reserve.

Closing remarks were made by the CT Chapter President, BG(CT-Ret) Gary Ottenbreit.
