Checking For Sparks
We got a heads up (thanks James) that the Loram rail grinder was sitting in the siding at Oregon changing a grinding wheel about midnight. We listened to the scanner and watched the ATCS and finally saw her on the move about 3:00 am. We loaded the cameras up and headed out to catch her. This is a shot of one of the two Hi-Rails that follow along behind the grinder checking for hot spots. It was headed Westbound just past the WSS at Carter on the Aurora Sub.
