Bringing Dinner

These swallows live in my bird house. They are a joy to watch as they gather food for their babies. After numerous shots with my big lens one evening, I finally captured a couple with a decent amount of clarity. I am still trying to figure out this lens, plus these little birds are SO quick. If you zoom in you can see one leg of a crane fly sticking out of her beak....delicious! As the parents land on the ledge of the bird house I can hear, from my porch, the noisy babies inside chirping for dinner. Like I said.....a joy!
