it was always a tradition that the day after Thanksgiving we would put up our tree... my daughter always helped, she now lives in Florida...
so it's just the two of us... I didn't even cook today, we ordered two turkey special dinners from the diner... you got soup to nuts... so worth it to not have to stand and cook all day and then clean all night...
I decided to put the tree up today and also decorate the outside of the house... David was able to help a little, but with his new hip, he still can't do much...
and me, being me... I can do it all!!!
Most of the ornaments are handmade...
All that's needed is to wrap the gifts... and bake a ton of cookies!!!
