lego character piece guide: RAGNAROK 2- Odin, Heimdall, Loki, Thor
yay ragnarok part 2 as promised! so i just typed up most of the guide and then proceeded to accidentally close google chrome. so lets type it all out again hahahaha. for odin i looked at a bunch of torsos but eventually settled on balins from the hobbit sets. for his bottom half i chose the robot western lady figure from the lego movie although if you dont like to use the sloped bricks on youre minifigs and prefer the use of legs i would recommend using elronds from the lord of the rings sets. i would definitely use the head from the knockoff odin figure as its perfect. i honestly wouldnt know what official head to use if im honest. the hair im not too sure on, im thinking that the new luke hair thats yet to come out might work really well but we'll see for now. for heimdall i would use the dark ninjas torso from the tmnt sets with the arms swapped out for brown ones with grey hands as it appears he is sleeveless in the trailer. cant be certain though. his legs are from the mirkwood elf guard figure from the hobbit sets. his head is from the mr t dimensions fun pack, although the eyes will need to be painted gold/orange. his hair i would use thorins from the hobbit sets although i suppose bards hair might work too. thorins has more of a dreadlock quality to it in my opinion though. to emulate his many scarves and capes i have chosen to use a grey cape layered with a shorter purple cape from the simpsons bartman figure. for his sword i am personally using a gold sword from the knights kingdom sets that ive had since i was about four hahahaha but i suppose any sword will do. for loki i would use his official ragnarok head paired with bards hair from the hobbit sets. i was shocked to discover the lack of fully black suit torsos so the white on the torso would need to be painted black. and finally for thor the peter parker torso from the original spiderman sets is absolutely perfect, with the arms needing to be swapped for sand blue ones. wyldstyles hood piece would be used with the printing painted over or removed. it appears that mjolnir has been disguised by lokis magic to appear as an umbrella in this scene so i would just use the new umbrella piece from the lego batman movie penguin figure. a pair of light blue legs for his jeans will do. and for his head i have the age of ultron head pictured as i really like it and think it portrays chris hemsworth really well although the ragnarok head will work nicely as well. and finally for his hair i would use the star wars rebels kanan hair and paint it blonde. so yeah thats it for now i guess let me know what you think below and please give some requests for more characters for me to do! feedback would be appreciated!! thanks guys.
