La Muela is a witness hill that has an average slope of about 280 m. Access to it is made by a concrete track that starts from the town of Alarilla. Its aerological conditions are mainly subject, on the one hand, to the dictation of the Henares river's own aerology, which tends to channel surface winds along it, and on the other to the movement of the sun. The latter causes the wind to roll in a clockwise direction. It is typical, that in the early morning you can fly in its northeast face, that in the middle of the morning it is oriented to the south and that during the afternoon and until the sunset flights are made from the southwest or west face.

La Muela es un cerro testigo que tiene un desnivel medio de unos 280 m. El acceso a ella se hace por una pista hormigonada que parte del pueblo de Alarilla. Sus condiciones aerológicas están principalmente supeditadas, por una parte, al dictado de la aerología propia del río Henares, que tiende a encauzar los vientos en superficie a lo largo de él, y por otra al movimiento del sol. Esto último provoca que el viento vaya rolando en el sentido de las agujas del reloj. Es típico, que a primera hora de la mañana se pueda volar en su cara noreste, que a media mañana este orientado a sur y que durante la tarde y hasta el ocaso se realicen vuelos desde la cara suroeste u oeste.
