The most famous beach in the Natural Park, with the permission of Playa de Genoveses, for having appeared in many films and commercials. This beach owes its uniqueness to the eroded lava formations that surround it, the beauty of its fine sand and its crystal clear water.
Mónsul is a beach 400 meters long surrounded by rock formations of volcanic origin on its sides and an immense dune of fine sand at its back. The beach is oriented to the south and the uneven entrance to the water is very progressive, which makes it ideal for children. The water is transparent and when it is shallow it feels warm. It is highly recommended to take diving goggles to snorkel and see the fish around us. The sand is fine and golden, very tasty and pleasant, although it is difficult to get rid of when you get into the car. We advise to protect electronic devices such as telephones and cameras by this sand it gets everywhere.
The great Dune of Mónsul is an almost obligatory visit for bathers since from above you have a splendid view of the beach and the surrounding landscape, fields and mountains without any vestige of constructions, nor electrical cables. If you decide to climb it, especially in summer, do not forget the flip flops, the sand burns a lot and at half the cost our feet will burn.

Mónsul es una playa de 400 metros de longitud cercada por formaciones rocosas de origen volcánico en sus laterales y por una inmensa duna de fina arena a su espalda. La playa está orientada hacia el sur y el desnivel de entrada al agua es muy progresivo, lo que la hace ideal para niños. El agua es transparente y al tener poca profundidad se nota calentita. Es muy recomendable llevarse gafas de buceo para practicar snorkel y ver los peces que nos rodean. La arena es fina y dorada, muy gustosa y agradable, aunque es difícil sacártela de encima cuando te vas a subir al coche. Aconsejamos proteger los aparatos electrónicos como teléfonos y cámaras por esta arenilla se mete en todas partes.
La gran Duna de Mónsul es una visita casi obligada para los bañistas pues desde arriba se tiene una vista espléndida de la playa y del paisaje que la rodea, campos y montañas sin ningún vestigio de construcciones, ni cables eléctricos. Si decidís subirla, sobre todo en verano, no os olvidéis las chancletas, la arena quema mucho y a media cuesta ya nos arderán los pies.
