Conoly Cravens (pictured) said, "Having alternative modes of transportation helps by demonstrating how carpooling is important. Further, zip car in particular... allows for less cars to be on the road." She knew this was important, but was unsure what the reasoning was behind it, which is to reduce emissions. Many surveyed students know about the program because "it's heavily advertised for freshman," and some use it on a regular basis.
