October in my local area is quite the same as it was last year, with no rain in the second part of the month. Therefore, there is not much atmosphere in the morning when I go for my early walks. Also, the colours are just starting to appear, but the greens are still predominant.
Unusually to me, I missed a couple morning walks this month because Autumn is still not here. At least I thought that until this morning when I decided to visit a few forests and look at how nature progressed in colour change thus far. To my surprise, in a few days that I didn’t visit a few places where I like to go, the autumnal colour progressed pretty nicely. I was also rewarded with some gorgeous morning light to fulfil the overall feeling.
I am quite impatiently waiting for at least some rain. Mornings are pretty cold, so I’m convinced that the first morning after the rain will be foggy and atmospheric. It is so nice that the Autumn is finally coming. I’m really looking forward to capturing some colourful photos.
I’m seeing and reading that in many places Autumn is at its peak as we speak. So if you are reading this, and living in some of those countries it may look strange to you when I wrote about greens in October, but it's been like that for a couple of seasons now.
As far as this image goes, when I saw the conditions this morning, for some reason I wanted to check this forest. I felt that the light would be nice here. And I wasn’t wrong. I actually wanted to edit and post a different photo, that is a bit more complex having more nature elements in it. There are many photos that I got from this place, obviously, because I need a reason to overthink about what to edit, what to post and so on… I’m just joking, but I am in that way often. Anyway, I am aware that the photo could look a bit heavy on the left side, unbalanced, but I think the light on the right softens that a little. I deliberately chose this photo because I like the scene immensely. And I hope you do too.
