Toyota - Australia_WA
WA - Western Australia
Probably my best catch of 2020, certainly at least in Leipzig. I would never have thought that a vehicle from down under would actually make it here. Without the tip from Princeps, who seems to keep other contacts to Leipzig besides me, I probably would have even missed this offroader. So thanks again to you, Moritz for my first AUS WA!!!
At first I had even still searched in vain in the aforementioned street and then went wild in the city on the hunt, so as not to miss this, perhaps unique opportunity. When I came back in my desperation 2 hours later, I discovered the Toyota parked around the corner - I was very relieved about it. Especially in this messed up year 2020 I would never have expected such a visit.
The plate itself irritates me a bit: 1SL 1234 is issued for seasonal commercial vehicles, but really the lettering should be green. Also, the lettering "Seasonal" is missing at the bottom of the plate. Ordinary 1978 series plates are black on yellow, but 1SL should actually be reserved. Maybe someone can explain it to me?
