Foster, Agnes
Agnes Fletcher was born in 1919 and was a teacher for over thirty years, as well as a dairy farmer. She married George Foster, and they had five daughters. Agnes was actively involved with the local church, women’s institutes and 4-H clubs, being a leader of the Elder’s Mills 4-H club for over 56 years. In 1984, she was later selected out of two hundred applicants to win a provincial award for outstanding citizenship. She passed away in 2020.
