James Cameron, 1911-14
James was the son of Alex Cameron and the grandson of Donald Cameron, who moved to Vaughan from Scotland. He grew up on the family farm, which was located on Lot 30, Concession 5 (present day southwest corner of the intersection of Jane Street and Kirby Road). James also served as Warden of York County and president of the West York and Vaughan Agricultural Societies.
