Albert Rutherford, 1961-66

The Rutherford Family settled on lot 15, concession 6 (southwest corner of Rutherford and Weston Road), passing it through the generations until it was finally sold in 2016. Albert Rutherford is the namesake of Rutherford Road, having served the community of Vaughan from the 1940's to the 1970's as Reeve and Councilor. Albert Rutherford was also active in York County Junior Farmers.
