David Boyle, 1872-73
David Boyle was born in Scotland in 1820, coming to Canada in 1842. He was originally located near York Mills, where he worked at a blacksmith. He then bought Lot 45, Concession 1, where there was a sawmill that he operated until 1881. He married Ann Williamson, and they had three sons and two daughters. He was a school trustee, Deputy-Reeve, and Reeve.
