David Bridgeford, 1858

David Bridgeford moved to the area in 1797. Bridgeford was a veteran of the War of 1812 and narrowly escaped capture at the hands of the rebels in the 1837 Rebellion before making it to safety. He also served as an innkeeper and a coroner. Bridgeford passed away in 1862.
