James Henry Robson, 1929-30
James was born in 1881 and his family moved to Purpleville in 1885, when he was four years old. After studying at Purpleville School, he farmed in the area and became active in municipal politics. He was married twice, first to Annie Wilson and then to Ida Marshall. He died in 1962 and was buried in Maple.
