W.R. Scott, 1936-43

Wilfred Robert Scott was born in 1903 and moved to Woodbridge in 1934 from the Guelph area. Shortly after he opened the Scott Funeral Home with his wife. In addition to serving on Woodbridge and Vaughan Councils before the two were amalgamated in 1971, he also participated on committees for the Woodbridge Arena, Community Swimming Pool, and York Music Festival.
