Edgeley Hall, 1965

Edgeley Hall was built in 1877 for the use of the Independent Order of Good Templers through community contributions of money, material, and labour. Over the years it had a few different purposes, in addition to serving as a meeting place for the Good Templars, it was also used by a singing school and a literary society. In 1902, it moved to its final location and in 1965 it was demolished to allow for Highway No. 7, to be widened.
