“(The Ontario Temperance Act) Has Done Good Work,” The Liberal, Oct. 9, 1919

Following the end of World War I, citizens from across Ontario voted on whether the Ontario Temperance Act should continue while the country was at peace. A majority of over four hundred thousand people voted to make prohibition a permanent law of the province.
