Flying Officer Cameron Livingstone McNeil, son of John Alexander and Rosella Catherine McNeil of Woodbridge, was a member of the Vellore Junior Farmers. He attended Weston High School and the Ontario Agricultural College in Guelph. McNeil served during the Second World War, along with his two brothers – C.A. who was with the navy, and Stanley, who also joined the RCAF. He went overseas in 1943, serving as a member of the Bomber Command. McNeil was killed in action the following year and buried in Surrey, England; however, St. Paul’s Church Cemetery in Vaughan contains a marker for him.
