This book is written about Canadian female aviators and discusses their journeys to become pilots. It details various developments related to both civil and military aviation, as well as relating the challenges and triumphs of women in their own words. While women were accepted into the RCAF in 1941, they were not formally accepted as pilots until 1980. The first three female pilots in the RCAF were Captain Dee Brasseur, Captain Leah Mosher and Captain Nora Bottomley.
