Knox Presbyterian, 1961
Beginning in 1843, the school at S. S. No. 15 was used as a church by the United Presbyterian Church and the Free Church congregations. This lasted until the key was lost, leading to the construction a new frame church in 1854. In 1875, the two groups united, and the congregation took the name Knox Church. In 1883, the present brick building, photographed above in 1961, was opened.
