Teston United Church, 1968

The first church built near Teston was known as Hadwen Chapel. In 1872, this building was replaced, and with the original being moved approximately a mile away. In 1934, the new church was remodeled, and the spire removed. In 1957, an addition was added, and the spire rebuilt, as pictured above in 1968. Over the years, Teston has been part of the Richmond Hill charge, Kleinburg circuit, and the King and Laskay circuit. However, since 1967, it has remained independent.
